On January 17, 2009, Spanish Armenians and their supporters from across Europe (150 persons) have been attended an AGBU-ACAB (Armenian Cultural Association of Barcelona) partnership event followed by a gala dinner at the magnificent premises of NH Podium Hotel in the downtown of Barcelona.

The evening featured first the presentation of both AGBU and ACAB goals, activities and projects and also an Armenian music concert and an Armenian cuisine tasting. Photo exhibition on ACAB activities and exhibition of painting and handcrafts of Armenian Saturday School students have been organized.

Hamburg: a first meeting of young Armenian professionals lays the foundations of a second AGBU YP group in Germany

On Saturday 24 January, the premises of the famous Literaturhauscafe, a reference place for literary meetings in Hamburg, was displaying the colours of Armenia.

The first meeting of Hamburg’s young Armenian professionals took place in this much-valued cultural venue located on the banks of Lake Alster.
