The most beautiful gift AGBU could ever make to Armenian Diaspora: a new learning institute; one that will carry on its lifelong dedication to education with an entirely innovative approach. Yervant Zorian had the priviledge to initiate the Armenian Virtual College in 2004 under the umbrella of AGBU Silicon Valley.
A new Armenian classroom has emerged and will finally be available to any Armenian, anywhere, anytime.
The AGBU Central Board quarterly meeting was held in Paris from March 27-28, 2009. On the occasion of the global gathering, AGBU Europe organized a special meeting on March 27 for visiting board members at the local AGBU Alex Manoogian Cultural Center in order to better familiarize them with the recent activities and accomplishments of AGBU France and Europe.
AGBU Chamber Orchestra and Sofia Armenian organization head council, under the patronage of His Excellency Sergey Manasaryan, Ambassador of the RA in Bulgaria, orgnaizes a concert in order to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the Armenian genocide.
The concert will be held on Sunday April 26 at 5pm in NMA “Pancho Vladigerov” Concert Hall
(94, Evlogi Georgiev Blvd., Sofia, Bulgaria).
The AGBU Sofia Chamber Orchestra’s 2009 concert seasons is dedicated to 140 years of the great Gomidas Vardapet’s birth.
