One hundred years of generosity
Since its inception in 1906, AGBU statutes integrate the establishment of an “inalienable capital account” including donations for a specific purpose. In other words, the AGBU was created to last, by deciding right from the start to be build on a solid foundation. The current statutes and rules have evolved maintaining this philosophy intact. Throughout the years, countless people who benefited from AGBU’s assistance in their youth have, in turn, proceeded to help those who need it most.

Responsible management
In 2005, investment income and rental income from the small part of real estate not used for activities, represented approximately 38% of the total annual expense budget of $36 million. Tuition and other income represented another 38% in 2005. Hence, 9$ million of donations were necessary to cover the remaining expense budget.

Your contributions are essential to AGBU
In 2005 the AGBU received $23 million in donations and bequests in the world allowing it, through resonsible management, to increase yearly expenditures to $36 million while growing its capital by $14 million, thus helping ensure the future of its programs.
