AGBU Europe seeks “talent” by discovering new leaders in different European communities, train, advise, network and accompany those leaders in achieving their Armenian projects in Europe or Armenia, or be active in some fashion, may they be researchers, intellectuals, politicians or professionals.
GORIZ Guiding Principle
- “Seeker” of talent, “think-tank” and “facilitator”
- Attract individuals as potential leaders
- Leverage AGBU know-how, contacts and resources
- Accompany the individual by giving him/her access to information, network, training and project support
The first “GORIZ” seminar was organized from 1 to 3 May 2009 in Venice (Italy).

Next GORIZ seminar will take place in Yerevan, Armenia from 20 to 24 May 2010. It will tackle the themes of democracie & civil society. The seminar is organized with the support of Youth in Action Program of European Union.

GORIZ RECRUITMENT
AGBU Europe is pleased to announce that applications for participation in the leadership program GORIZ are now available.
If you are eager to become a future leader of the Armenian Community in your country, this program is for you.
GORIZ will enable you to develop your leadership skills, conceive and implement projects with and in Armenia, learn how to communicate on topics linked to Armenia toward European authorities or even in your company, reinforce your contacts and be part of a European network of Armenian leaders.
All applicants must:
• Have leadership experience
• Be active in voluntary initiatives or programs
• Have completed university studies
• Be between the ages of 22 and 35 years old
• Be able to follow a seminar in English
